Hazeltine Lake is located in the northwest corner of the City of Chaska. The popular lake is conveniently situated between Highway 41 and Audubon Road. The lake is named after the Hazeltine family who were some of the first settlers in the area. The lake is encompassed by several businesses to the north, some apartment buildings, Chaska Park 30, and of course Hazeltine National Golf Club to the south. Hazeltine Lake is not known as a fishing lake with bluegill, black bullheads, green sunfish, and minnows being the only frequently caught fish.
