Located on the south side of Plymouth off of Fernbrook Lane just south of County Road 6 is the community of Fernbrook. Fernbrook is situated on the east side of Parkers Lake featuring scenic lake views and wooded scenery, providing residents with a quiet and peaceful neighborhood environment. Birchview serves over 600 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade providing an excellent educational program designed to foster a lifelong desire to learn. Other schools in the area include Oakwood Elementary School, Central Middle School, Wayzata East Middle School, Wayzata High School, West Lutheran High School, Providence Academy, and Fourth Baptist Christian School.
