Spring Park, located in the western metro of Minnesota and part of Hennepin County, is unique in that the two longest stretches of land in the city are part of the Lake Minnetonka shoreline. The city serves as a land bridge that connects the western area of the lake, such as Mound and Minnetrista, to the eastern side of the lake, such as Wayzata. There are approximately 4.34 miles of total shoreline in Spring Park. While the town is small, with a population of around 1,500 and a geographical area covering a little over one-half a square mile, it’s residents are incredibly active members of the community and are involved with the neighboring communities. The two main routes through the city are Country roads 15 and 51, which allow access to the surrounding cities and larger highways.
Spring Park is a beautiful area. The local residents appreciate the picturesque scenery of the lake, parks, and bays. Lake Minnetonka brings the community together, and every day is bustling with activity on the water during the summer months. Spring Park’s residents truly experience all of the benefits of a smaller city lifestyle while still being able to experience Minnesota due to the city’s quick access to larger nearby cities for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
