Interstate Highway 494, U.S. Highway 52, and Minnesota Highway 156 are three of the main routes in the community.
The city is by no means a large one geographically, as it has a total area of 6.14 square miles, of which 0.49 square miles is water. South St. Paul remains a place with an active 20,000 residents and a strong sense of community. South St. Paul will always be known for its wonderful school system and numerous amenities.
