St. Louis Park, located in district 283, has schools that are dedicated to instilling hard work, strong academics, and ethical values for each and every one of its students. St. Louis Park Public Schools is a nationally recognized suburban public school district serving approximately 4,590 students. The district includes four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Additionally, the district services a Spanish Immersion school, a two-way dual-language program, which provides elementary students with an education in a bilingual language environment.

As a fully accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP), Susan Lindgren Elementary School strives to practice the IB Learner Profile and Attitudes. They provide a complete curriculum, including reading, math, science, social studies, the arts, physical education, and foreign language.
