The city of Roseville, Minnesota is home to 30 parks containing over 600 acres of parkland, 60 miles of trails, and hosting hundreds of events annually. Cherished among the community, the parks in Roseville act as more than just recreational destinations, but also as community gathering locations. With a wide array of amenities suitable for all interests, there is truly something for everyone when it comes to Roseville’s parks. Some of the most notable examples include:

Acorn Park: At over 40 acres, Acorn Park offers great amenities to its visitors. Known for its peaceful, woodland setting Acorn park features picnic areas, walking trails, youth ball fields, basketball courts, a playground, two lit tennis courts, a hockey rink, and a warming house. Perhaps the most distinguishable feature of Acorn Park, however, is its unique, 18-hole disc golf course. Guests of Acorn Park will be sure to enjoy their time whether it be for passive or active purposes.

Langton Lake Park: For those desiring a peaceful, scenic walk through the park, Langton Lake Park provides just that. With nearly one mile of trails around the beautiful Langton Lake, guests are treated to scenic, natural beauty. Along the pathway, guests can stop at the fishing pier to fish or simply to look out on the waters as well as one of several picnic sites. In addition to splendid passive recreation, Langton Lake Park also offers several active amenities. These include two ball fields, a soccer field, and two children’s play structures.

Reservoir Woods: While mostly undeveloped and offering only a few amenities, Reservoir Woods is a favorite location within the community. An 110-acre park with miles and miles of trails, Reservoir Woods contains an abundance of natural beauty. Visitors will stroll through hilly terrain with lots of pine trees, wetlands, prairie grass, and savanna, and spot wildlife of all varieties. The only development within the park, other than the walking path, is an off-leash dog area. With one fenced-in section, and one open space, dogs and their owners can enjoy room to exercise and run around without restrictions.

Lexington Park: Lexington Park is an 8-acre park offering several great amenities. With a basketball court, hockey rink, baseball field, volleyball court, playground, and soccer fields, visitors have lots of ways in which they can be active. The most exciting feature of Lexington Park, however, is its newly constructed rental building. Perfect for family gatherings or meetings, the rental building at Lexington Park features a gathering room with a fireplace, kitchenette, and a video monitor. It also features a multipurpose room located near the ice rink. During the winter months, the building acts as a warming house.
