The amenities in and around Greenwood are plentiful. One of the most popular is the Southshore Community Center. Located within the nearby city of Shorewood, the Southshore Community Center services the residents of several communities in the Lake Minnetonka area. It offers a wide variety of community events as well as community education classes. Another amenity that residents can make use of are the community education classes offered by Minnetonka Community Education in Excelsior. With a wide variety of classes to explore, residents can enjoy community education at a low cost. Greenwood is also home to the Old Log Theater. Opened in 1940, this historic theatre features theatrical productions year-round with shows geared towards adults and children alike.
One of the greatest aspects of Greenwood’s community is its ideal location. With easy access to the amenities of the surrounding cities as well as being close to the larger surrounding suburbs, residents of Greenwood are able to enjoy the finest that Minnesota has to offer.
