Centerville is situated in Independent School District 12. The Centennial School District, located in Anoka County, serves Centerville, Lexington, Circle Pines, and portions of the cities of Lino Lakes and Blaine.

Centerville Elementary School serves nearly 600 students in grades K-5. With caring staff and respectful students, Centerville Elementary maintains a small town feel. The school focuses on positive behavior and seeks that each students grows in respect, responsibility, right choices, and readiness. In the most recent MCA tests, students scored in the 99th percentile for proficiency. This close-knit community believes in parent involvement in their students education, and more than 20 parents per day volunteer in the school.

Centennial Middle School (CMS), in Lino Lakes, serves 1,600 students in grades 6-8. The school is dedicated to their robust academic program, which prepare each student for their future. CMS school departments include art, health, music, physical education, technology, world language, science, and many more. Centennial Middle School is dedicated to working with parents and community members to give students the foundation they need to meet life’s challenges.

Centennial High School, situated in Circle Pines, serves 2,000 students in grades 9-12. CHS is the third highest performing high school in the state in terms of academic proficiency, growth measurements and graduation rate (96.4%). Departments include art, AVID, business, english, FACS, technology, math, media, music, phy ed, social studies, special education, world language, and more. Students have countless athletic opportunities, including football, soccer, cheerleading, cross country, track, swim/dive, tennis, volleyball, adapted soccer, and many many more. Other activities and clubs include bowling club, choir, clay target club, creative writing, cross country ski club, Cougar dance club, FIRST robotics, gaming club, math team, spanish club, speech, student council, and many more.
