Located 15 miles northeast of St. Paul in Washington and Ramsey counties, Birchwood Village is a quiet town with a friendly community. Birchwood is home to 878 residents, 350 households, and 260 families. Situated on White Bear Lake, Birchwood is a popular place in the summer for boating and other outdoor activities.
The village of Birchwood offers several events to its residents. One of the most popular events is Music in the Park. Music in the Park is a concert series held on Sunday nights throughout the summer. This event takes place in various places throughout the city including Birch Beach, Dellwood Beach, and Tighe-Schmitz Park. Music in the Park offers a wide range of music including folk, classical, rock, doo-wop, bluegrass, line dancing, and show choir. In addition to local Birchwood events, it’s close proximity to St. Paul and Minneapolis give residents the opportunity to enjoy everything the two cities have to offer.
Residents of Birchwood Village also enjoy several recreational activities. Because the city is situated on White Bear Lake, locals are conveniently near numerous outdoor activities including boating, fishing, and swimming. Birchwood also features paved walking paths for walking, biking, and running.
