The city of Arden Hills, Minnesota primarily belongs to Independent School District (ISD) 621, or the Mounds View School District. A small section of the city is located in ISD 623, the Roseville School District. Mounds View High School is located in Arden Hills and is the high school that the majority of Arden Hills residents attend. The high school offers extensive athletics and arts opportunities. Students can participate in a wide range of academic clubs in addition to taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses which can potentially earn students college credits. The city of Arden Hills has two private universities located within the city. Bethel University is the larger of the two and is located on Valentine Lake. Home to over 6,500 students, Bethel University is a private, Christian college offering 66 majors, graduate studies, and a seminary. The University of Northwestern- St. Paul is only partially located in Arden Hills. It is a private, Christian college that offers traditional 4-year degrees with over 70 different majors in addition to a nursing program, as well as some graduate programs.
