The City of Oak Park Heights is situated in the Stillwater Area Public School District. District 834 is home to nine elementary schools, two junior high schools, one high schools, one alternative learning center, and one early childhood family center. St. Croix Preparatory Academy is a charter school situated in Stillwater. The school opened in 2004, and today serves 1,200 students in grades K-12. The educational philosophy of St. Croix Preparatory Academy is founded on the classical methodology of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. In addition to excellent academics, students enjoy extracurricular opportunities. St. Croix Prep offers varsity-level athletics in soccer, basketball, volleyball, cross country, football, archery, track, and golf. Other opportunities include theater, debate, choir, band, ski club, and more. St. Croix Preparatory Academy seeks to promote academics, character, and leadership in all students.
