One event that draws people to the town is the Miesville FiftySix. The Miesville FiftySix is a gravel road bike ride in and around Miesville. The route is 56 miles long and is loved by gravel enthusiasts. In total, 400 participants can take part in this unsupported, free event. The Miesville FiftySix is all about bikes, fun, challenge, community, and respect.
The city of Miesville is known for its amatuer baseball team the Mudhens. The Mudhens participate in Town Team Baseball. Within the city, there is a baseball field which is home to the Mudhens. Locals enjoy beautiful evenings of town ball, which brings the community together.
