Downtown Chaska is located on the south side of the city a couple miles north of highway 169. Downtown Chaska is made up of some of the oldest homes in Chaska offering unique character in an excellent location.  The neighborhood offers excellent homes, great residents, and numerous amenities. Downtown Chaska is split into East and West neighborhoods, which together contains over 400 single family homes. Homes for sale range from $40,000 to $400,000 in price.

Downtown Chaska offers numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment amenities that all residents can enjoy. It boasts several parks, numerous shops, and entertainment options that all residents can take advantage of. Other amenities in the area include Chaska Community Center, Lions Park, Two Twelve Medical Center, Hazeltine National Golf Club, and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Residents of Downtown Chaska are served by Independent School District 112 also known as Eastern Carver County Schools. Eastern Carver County Schools seeks to provide students with a personalized learning experience designed to help each student succeed. One of the closest schools to Downtown Chaska is Chaska Middle School West. Chaska Middle School West serves 740 students in 6th-8th grade with a student teacher ratio of 16.1. Other schools in the area include Chaska Elementary School, Pioneer Ridge Middle School, Chaska High School, and Southwest Christian High School.
