Cedar Crest is an excellent neighborhood in eastern Bloomington. Cedar Crest is a sizeable community situated south of E 86th street, north of E 90th street between 12th Ave. south and Old Cedar Ave. Within the neighborhood, single-family houses range in price from $200,000 to $300,000.

Residents of Cedar Crest have easy access to a variety of top-notch shopping, dining, and recreational amenities throughout Bloomington. Cedar Crest is within close proximity to opportunities including Mall of America, Wrights Lake Park, Valley View Playfield, Long Meadow Lake, and IKEA. The biggest mall in the United States, Mall of America, is within a couple miles of the Cedar Crest neighborhood. Kennedy High School is within close proximity to the Cedar Crest neighborhood. The school has an excellent teaching staff, with 72% of its teachers maintaining Master’s Degrees. Other schools in the area include Valley View Elementary, Washburn Elementary, Valley View Middle School, Jefferson High School, and Normandale Community College.
