Greenwood Elementary puts an emphasis on foundational skills such as reading, math, science, and social studies, enabling students to excel. Greenwood Elementary was awarded a 2010 Blue Ribbon School by to U.S. Department of Education. Other Schools in the area include Oakwood Elementary School, Wayzata Central Middle School, Wayzata High School, West Lutheran High School, Providence Academy, and Fourth Baptist Christian School.
