White Bear Area High School is one high school with two campuses serving White Bear Lake students and the surrounding cities. White Bear Lake Area High School – North Campus is home to grades 9-10, and the South Campus of WBLAHS is home to grades 11-12. In total, White Bear Lake Area High School serves 2,500 students. Over 30 college-level class options are offered for students of WBLAHS. Opportunities including sports, theater, debate, speech, much more are available for high schoolers. White Bear Area High School challenges students to strive for excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities, which enables high schoolers to become empowered and responsible citizens.
White Bear Lake is home to Century College, which is a two-year community college. In Minnesota, Century College is the largest two-year community and technical college. Founded in 1967, today Century College serves 11,000 students. Programs include advertising and marketing, business and management, art and design, nursing, technology, liberal arts, and law enforcement. With the motto Your Bridge to Success, academics are at the center of Century College. The Century Wood Ducks are home to baseball, softball, and soccer teams for men and women. Students enjoy a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities outside of classes. At Century College, a variety of career and transfer degrees and diplomas are available for the workplace or transferring to 4-year universities.
