The neighborhood community of Vinewood is located on the north side of Plymouth off of 55th avenue between Northwest Boulevard and Interstate 494. Cedar Island serves over 350 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade dedicated to providing students with an excellent educational experience. Other schools in the area include Oakview Elementary School, Maple Grove Middle School, Osseo Middle School, Osseo High School, Maranatha Christian Academy,  and Hennepin Technical College.
