The city of Rosemount, Minnesota covers a total of 35 square miles of land with 302 acres of land reserved for parks. Rosemount maintains approximately 23 different parks with numerous options for outdoor activities. Some of the most notable parks include:

Bloomfield Park: Named after the development in which it is located, Bloomfield park offers a wide variety of amenities to visitors looking for a way to enjoy the outdoors. The park has over 13 acres of land with several walking trails. Recreational amenities include a hard surface basketball court; little league baseball, lacrosse, and soccer fields; playground equipment; a hockey rink; and tennis courts. The city also maintains restrooms and warming houses throughout the year.

Central Park: One of the most popular destinations for outdoor activity in Rosemount is Central Park. With around 9 acres of space, the park contains playground equipment, nature areas, a skating rink, and a warming house. The Central Park amphitheatre features tier seating for 2,500 people on grass terraces and the band shell offers 1,200 square feet of floor space. The bandshell houses evening music programs during Leprechaun Days along with other various concerts and gatherings throughout the year. During autumn, the park’s walking trails are used in the city’s annual Halloween Trail event. Central park also contains a Veterans Memorial.

Brockway Park: Brockway Park was named after the Brockway Glass Factory, which occupied the site from 1961 until 2004. The park covers over 14 acres of land and is one of the city’s newest parks. Recreational amenities include baseball fields, a hard surface basketball court, and a disc golf course. The disc golf course draws in disc golfers from all around the area and the beautiful picnic shelter and playground area make this one of Rosemount’s most attractive parks.

Flint Hills Recreation Complex: In 2007, Flint Hills donated 57 acres of land to the city of Rosemount with the promise that it would be used for recreational purposes. The first phase of development of the site began in 2013 with the construction of three full size soccer/lacrosse fields. In the future after the completed development, the park will contain seven soccer/lacrosse fields, a park shelter/concessions shelter, a playground area, and a trail connection to the Regional Trail running from Rosemount to the Mississippi River. 

Spring Lake Park Reserve: Located next to the Mississippi River, Spring Lake Park Reserve is the “hidden jewel” of the Upper Mississippi River Valley. The city of Rosemount contains 270 acres of the park reserve that is home to beautiful evergreen forests of jack, red, and white pines. Spring Lake offers over 3 miles of cross-country classic ski trails and almost 2 miles of cross-country skate-ski trails. Other popular activities include archery, horseshoes, hiking, snowshoeing, hunting, and geocaching.
