Lake Zumbra is located in Carver county near the city of Victoria.  This lake is 271 acres in size. It is approximately 58 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Green Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, White Crappie, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch.

One of the big amenities on the lake is the Carver Park Reserve.  This 3,300-acre park reserve is home to Lowry Nature Center, with year- round programs designed for adults, school children, and families. A variety of trails allow visitors to observe deer, raptors, beaver, otters, butterflies, trumpeter swans and osprey.  The Center also has an education play area as well as access to the Grimm Farm Historic Site which serves as an educational facility where students have the opportunity to experience Minnesota’s agricultural heritage and explore the relationship between food, land and people.

There are group camping sites also available.  Each site has a water pump, picnic tables, pit latrines and a fire ring. Also within the park are boatlaunches, fishing piers and access to the LRT Trail.  The park also has an off leash dog area, 9 miles of horse trails, 8.5 miles of paved bike and hike trails and 12.2 miles of turf hiking trails.
