The neighborhood community of Cottonwood is located on the northeast side of Plymouth off of Schmidt Lake Road just west of Zachary Lane. Cottonwood is an excellent neighborhood with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and excellent location with easy access to numerous amenities and several major highways. Cottonwood offers beautiful wooded scenery, providing residents with a quiet and scenic neighborhood atmosphere. The neighborhood boasts 200 single family homes featuring rambler and split level housing styles with prices ranging from $250,000 to $400,000.

Cottonwood boasts excellent location within close proximity to a wide variety of amenities within Plymouth as well as surrounding communities. Residents of the neighborhood have easy access to several shopping, dining, and recreational amenities including Schmidt Lake Park, Eagle Lake Regional Park, Zachary Playfield, Rockridge Center, Rockford Plaza, and Plymouth City Center. Residents of Cottonwood are served by Independent School District 281 also known as Robbinsdale Public Schools. There are numerous schools within close proximity to Dallas with the closest being Zachary Lane Elementary School. Zachary Lane serves 560 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade with a student teacher ratio of 16.5. Zachary Lane provides an excellent educational program designed to enrich each student’s learning experience by fostering a strong partnership between students, teachers, and parents. Other schools in the area include Pilgrim Lane Elementary School, Zachary Lane Elementary School, Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, St. Raphael Catholic School, and The FAIR School.
