Minnetonka Beach, Minnesota is a peninsula that is surrounded by the famous Lake Minnetonka. The only direction out of the city is west through Spring Park and Mound, or north through the city of Orono. This city remains today as one of the smallest incorporated cities in Minnesota, as it has a population of close to 550 and a geographical area containing one-half a square mile. The city is a small part of Hennepin County and is 25 minutes from Minneapolis. The main route through the city is Highway 15.

Lake Minnetonka is the main influence in the city, and much of the town’s recreational attraction is the lake itself. The city contains just several hundred homes, but each home enjoys access to the lake, locals parks, great educational options, a small and close-knit community, and quick access to the larger cities in the area. Families looking for a peaceful and excellent community that is private, but close to Minnesota’s city life can find all of this and more in Minnetonka Beach.
