Carl Krey Lake is located in Victoria, MN. The lake is 41 acres with a Maximum depth of 15 feet. It is an environmental lake with no public access with a pair of trumpeter swans living on it. No motors are allowed on this lake. It is surrounded by hardwood forest and wetland. It is considered to be a “newer” lake to the Victoria area. It offers beautiful scenery of not only the lake itself but also the wetland that surrounds it.
Larger Lakes nearby Carl Krey is Wasserman Lake and Piersons Lake and Lake Bridge Park is just north of the lake. The park feature a playground, basketball court, rentable shelters, ball fields and open space.
Victoria is known as the City of Lakes and Parks and has a population of over 9,000 residents. Victoria is home to two schools, a full service bank, numerous places of worship, service stations, car dealership, fine dining and fast food options, sports shop, as well as chiropractic, life style, spa, barbershop, and dental services. There is also a recreation center, which offers an ice rink, walking track, exercise facility, gymnasium, numerous class opportunities, and full locker room facilities.
Near by is one of Minnesota’s premier 18-hole championship golf courses Deer Run Golf Club. This scenic golf course nestled between two lakes, in the rolling hills of Victoria, is fun to play for the recreational golfer and challenging for the advanced player.
