The Birchwood neighborhood lies in southwest Plymouth just north of Wayzata Central Middle School and west of Vicksburg Lane. Birchwood contains primarily two story traditional and ranch style homes. House prices in the neighborhood range from $300,000 to $700,000.

Birchwood is within close proximity to some of the best shopping, dining, and recreational amenities in Plymouth. Just across Vicksburg Lane is Parker’s Lake Golf Center. This golf center is owned and operated by Hennepin County and features a full length driving range and a 9-hole chip-n-putt. Also located nearby are several lakes including Parker Lake and Gleason Lake. Residents of Cimarron Ponds also have easy access to Plymouth City Center and Rockford Plaza, offering some of the best shopping, dining, and entertainment amenities in the area.

Residents of Cimarron Ponds are served by Independent School District 284 also known as Wayzata Public Schools. Wayzata Public Schools is an excellent school district dedicated to providing students with an exceptional education designed to inspire them and help them excel. The closest school to Cimarron Ponds is Wayzata Central Middle School. Wayzata Central serves around 1,000 students from 6th to 8th grade providing an excellent educational program designed to enrich each student’s learning experience. Other schools in the area include Plymouth Creek Elementary School, Central Middle School, Wayzata High School, West Lutheran High School, Providence Academy, and Fourth Baptist Christian School.
